Brian's Story - Animals Australia & RSPCA

Brians' Story

This is a disturbing video, but sometimes, our conscience needs to be jogged using visuals.
We live in a world with a pecking order, yet, what makes human animals stand out from non-human animals, is the ability to decide how we respond.  Non-human animals respond mostly by instinct, not by choice, because they are not where human animals are, on the pecking order.

The argument is, as human animals, we are omnivorous - when meat-eating animals are carnivorous and kill it's prey for a meal, it is done with relish.  BUT we are not meat-eating non-human animals, but meat-eating human animals.

To allow cruelty to animals to be more palatable for us, some may say, it's for our survival. Question is, an animal 'restrained' cannot even be menacing or threatening, not even in our nightmares.
What we do, should be distinctive enough, so that there is no confusion on whether we are instinctive non-human animals or thinking human animals.
